conversation in Tagbilaran about fitness, SPORTS surely comes on top. All year round
different competitions are held and are participated in by the different schools in the
city as well as in the provinces. Every town in the province mold players even at the
start of the year to prepare for bigger events . The said events are held at the CPG
Sports Complex . Aside from the provincial meet which is participated in by the different
towns of the province, bigger events like the CVRAA and CVRCAA, |

participated in by different provinces in the
region come in action too. These events are surely looked up by everybody because of the
opportunities it may bring about , and the fun which the athletes and the spectators
experience . As you witness the different games in the open field under the friendly
heat of the sun or under the comforting roof you will surely feel your heart pounding
with excitement. It is such a splendid experience as you witness the athletes crying
for victory and craving for the GOLD. Witness the sweats roll down their
muscled bodies, the catch less breath every runner could give just to reach the
finish line, the big smiles of joy, the up-high fists waving for victory, and the
roaring sound of the crowd. Sports is simply not money but GLORY !

The
week-long activity started with the traditional parade of athletes from the different
towns of the province. The opening ceremony followed and with the
lighting of the torch, the activity was officially opened.
